Jah Militant sound system is a roots and culture sound system, the voice of a Rastaman, playing Reggae music from the early ska music to the nowadays stepper dub movement. Since 1998, Weeda Militant, owner and founder of the sound system plays conscious, militant and positive reggae music. Jah Militant move all over the globe to share this powerful music.
Inspired by the tradition of the Jamaican sound systems, Jah Militant plays with his own equipement : one turntable, echos and siren and of course some massives stacks of speakers to reproduce the power and vibration of this music to the people.
Foxus on the message and the music, it's all over France and Europe that Jah Militant travels since more than 20 years with his speaker boxes and records to deliver the militancy of this music. Presenting dubplates, exclusive tracks and collectors , the reflect of a spiritual and militant reggae music.
Also involved in producing music, Jah Militant label and Back in the days label are responsible for more than 20 vynils 12inch played by the most famous and powerful sound systems around the globe. Since 2010, Jah Militant works with established artists and young artists aswell, looking constantly to produce some food for the mind , the soul and the spirit.
